Australian Institute of Sport
If your a sport fanatic or not, the AIS is a fantastic place to visit. On your visit, an elite athlete who takes you on a behind the scenes tour around the AIS and gives you an insight into the life of a top sportsmen. As well in the Australian Institute of Sport, is the Sportex exhibit, here you take on a interactive sporting experience where you can take part in a virtual rowing or cycling race, rock climb or even try to play wheelchair basketball. AIS shop has many things such as clothing to drink bottles, socks to key rings.

Questacon
Questacon's slogan 'We make science fun' is most definitely true. In the Questacon, it is filled with 200 exciting 'hands on' exhibits and displays with five main galleries. There you can see caged lighting, experience a 'earthquake' and even walk away from you own shadow. As well if your brave enough, you can experience getting you head chop off and falling down a six metre slide. After you visit the Questacon, I bet science won't be the same. The National Museum of Australia
The National Museum of Australia is a brilliant place to read great stories about Australia and Australians. In the museum there is many fascinating things to do such as ride through the circa, experience the Old New Land, and observe the Australians Journeys gallery and much more. This Museum is even better as the general admission price is FREE! There is a Gift shop there with a range of Australian made things from jewellery to clothing, toys and much more. Australia War Memorial
The Australian War Memorial is a wonderful place to commemorate to our Australian soldiers who had fought and died for our country. Here is a interesting and fascinating place to go, you can connect with the stories of people and events that have shaped Australia, pay your respects to the men and women who had serviced in the war and discover what it actually means to be a true Australian. Entry fee at the Australian War Memorial is FREE but donations are welcome. A poppy can be purchased at the shop, if you wanted to put one next to someone's engraved name on the Roll of Honour. National Zoo and Aquarium
The National Zoo and Aquarium is a wonderful place to experience both native and marine animals. What’s so special about this is that it’s the only place in Australia which has the two places in one; there is something for everyone!
You can have the opportunity to hand feed a tiger or a lion and come face to face with a giraffe. But if that's not enough for you, you can 'Walk on the Wildside' for the entire day at the zoo and hand feed a shark as well as have lunch with the giraffes.
